Prohibited Items

In accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines, the following items are strictly prohibited or restricted on commercial aircraft. Please review this list carefully.

Explosives

Items normally forbidden on any commercial aircraft. Example: Ammunition, Fireworks, Gunpowder, Flares.

Gases

Compressed gases, liquefied gases. Example: Fire Extinguishers, Aerosol Cans, Propane Tanks.

Flammable Liquids

Liquids that catch fire easily. Example: Paints, Alcohol, Petrol, Perfumes, Acetone.

Flammable Solids

Solids that are easily combustible. Example: Matches, Sulphur, Magnesium.

Oxidizers

Substances that yield oxygen. Example: Bleach, Fertilizers, Pool Chemicals.

Toxic

Poisons and biohazards. Example: Pesticides, Arsenic, Medical Waste, Viruses.

Radioactive

Materials emitting radiation. Example: Uranium, Medical Isotopes, X-Ray Equipment.

Corrosives

Substances that cause damage on contact. Example: Battery Acid, Mercury, Strong Cleaners.

Miscellaneous

Other hazardous materials. Example: Dry Ice, Magnets, Lithium Batteries.
